Proizvedena s visokim lumenima i malom veličinom LED dioda, SMD 2835 LED traka ima visoku svjetlinu koja može doseći 26–28 lm po diodi, zbog čega SMD 2835 može zamijeniti SMD 3528. Uz manju potrošnju energije može pružiti više lumena, čime se štedi mnogo energije.
